For the past 7+ years, I've worked on fintech, insurance, banking and AI products across East Africa, including work for KCB Bank, Britam and Cadbury. I lead design teams, build design systems, and work closely with product and engineering teams to turn ideas into products people can trust and use with confidence.

I led the UX strategy and design system for KCB's new mobile banking app. The goal was to make everyday banking tasks easier, including onboarding, transfers, loans and account management. I worked with the design team to simplify key flows and create a more consistent experience for customers across East Africa.

I led the redesign of Britam's website across several markets. The goal was to make it easier for customers to find products, understand them and take action. We simplified the buying journey and helped increase sales leads by 40%.
I led the design of Cadbury's digital campaign experience, where people could record and share personal stories online. The focus was to make the recording process simple, warm and easy to complete.
I led the website redesign for Jubilee Insurance across three countries. We made the quote and purchase journey clearer, helping customers understand their options and move through the process with more confidence.
I led the redesign of Britam's consumer insurance app. We simplified the navigation, policy management and payment flows, making the app easier for customers to use on their own. The app rating improved from 3.1 to 4.2.

I designed a grant management platform for Kenya's Water Sector Trust Fund. The platform brought messy application, reporting and review processes into one system, helping teams work faster and track information more clearly.
I designed Bima Leo, a micro-insurance platform for buying motor cover online. The goal was to make quote comparison and checkout simple enough for first-time insurance buyers.
I designed Britam's merchandise e-commerce platform. The focus was to make browsing, ordering and checkout straightforward while keeping the experience aligned to the Britam brand.
